Featuring support from Within The Ruins, The Contortionist (who had Last Chance To Reason‘s Michael Lessard filling in on vocals!), and Glass Cloud, the trek took the bands to and from the annual New England Hardcore & Metal Festival.     Despite the dreadful album cover and a song or two with less than stellar lyrics, Sacramento based Deadlands‘ Evilution on Molten Metal Records is really a decent album, treading the line somewhere between Thrash and Power Metal – and mostly incorporating elements of both throughout the album in an interesting mix.
